Skin peels treat the top layers but also penetrate the mid to lower levels of the epidermis, delivering stronger, extended results. Advanced chemical peels are so active and deeply penetrating, so peeling for up to 10 days can be expected.
We have a range of 7 peels to target Pigmentation, Aging, Hydration, Acne including Cystic, Lifting, Blemishes and Antioxidant.
Resurfacers are more superficial so are suitable all year round with very little downtime. Exfoliating resurfacer treatments mean that they work on the very top layer of the skin (Stratum Corneum) Formulated with a blend of AHAs and BHAs to break down the lipid cement holding cells together.
For enhanced results we recommend teaming these with the EstiLED Light Therapy. Resurfacers generally have little to no downtime.

The Aging Peel
A new, unique take on a TCA peel, this peel provides excellent results without the heat or associated downtime from TCA peels. 8% chloroacetic acid is blended with 2% salicylic acid to provide even absorption, uniform frosting, and improve appearance of photo-damage, dark spots, wrinkles, and rough skin texture.
The age reversing Chloroacetic Acid Peel will reveal & revitalise youthful skin. It is also a fantastic treatment for acne scarring and pigmentation concerns.

The Pigmentation Peel
Enhanced with snow algae powder, this combination of 17% lactic, 7% mandelic, and 2.5% phytic acids work together to brighten skin and create an even skin tone. The Jessner Peel
A treatment that effectively tackles stubborn, reoccurring and life-controlling acne.
This treatment uses the power of Resorcinol to reduce the inflammation of cystic acne, killing the P acne bacteria and clearing out pores to enable your skin to breathe.

The Antioxidant Peel

Frequently Asked Q's
Can everyone male/female all fitzpatricks use dermaquest?
Yes absolutely, some blends are not suitable for higher Fitzpatrick’s but your DermaQuest specialist will advise on alternate peels to suit your skin type.
When will i start to see results?
Depending on the product and concern, results will start to be seen from 2-4 weeks.
What is Skin prep?
All advance peels and some resurfacers require 2 week of skin prep ahead of performing the treatment. This is to ensure optimum hydration, that the skin barrier is in the best condition to recieve the peel and to avoid any complications. Prep kits are availble to purchase in the clinic as well as full size products that will also form your aftercare.
How long will i peel with the advanced peels?
Peeling generally starts day 3 with the worst days being days 3,4 and 5. Depending on the type of peel and the individual peeling results vary from mild to moderate. Peeling can last up to 7 days.
What is the difference between Chemical, resurfacer and facial?
DermaQuest Facials
These are entry level into advanced skincare treatments, these advanced facials are both therapeutic and results driven, blending relaxation and visible results using masks that contain active ingredients
Resurfacers
A step up from facials but without the downtime of advanced peels. Resurfacers are supercharged exfoliating treatments that address several concerns through the use of enzymes and acids, working to effortlessly refine and exfoliate the texture of your skin. A course of 6 is recommended but they can also be used as single maintenance sessions.
